Inventory stratification is based on dollar activity. In this example,
items representing the top 80% of dollar activity are classified as
"A" items, items representing the next 15% of dollar activity
are classified as "B" items and items representing the remaining
5% are classified as "C" items.
"A" items are
counted every 21 days.
"B" items are counted every 126
days.
"C" items are counted every 252 days.
After the stratification process has been completed, InveTrak automatically
schedules items for count.
Using InveTrak MobileTM, operators are directed through the count
process in a highly productive manner. Operators are automatically requested
to perform recounts when count variances exceed established tolerances.
Completed counts are
then passed back to the server for reconciliation.

determines which label format to use based on the customer/order being

Product Labels: Again, InveTrak determines the appropriate label to
be printed based on the product being received or produced.
Lot/Serialized Labels: If the product you are receiving is lot-controlled
and/or serialized, InveTrak determines the appropriate action to take.
Operators are either prompted to enter lot/serial numbers or InveTrak

InveTrak can be modified to communicate with virtually any other system
that provides Open Database Connectivity (ODBC).
The application utilizes Microsoft Access as the user interface and
a Microsoft SQL Server-compatible database for data storage.
InveTrakERP includes the Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE) with the installation
disk. MSDE is a runtime version of Microsoft SQL Server.
When the number of concurrent connections exceeds the capabilities of
MSDE, scaling up to Microsoft SQL Server can be accomplished in minutes.
Should you need to establish interfaces between InveTrakERP and other
applications, this can be done using standard Microsoft ODBC drivers.
